Lokayatan (लोकायतन) is a registered society in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The office is at 6/113, Vineet Khand 6, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow-226010. We practise socio-economic rehabilitation of persons with disabilities — not as charity, but as a right.
What we stand for
We educate families and neighbours so taboos around disability begin to loosen. We organise disability certification camps in Lucknow so people can reach the documents they are entitled to. We look for assistive technology that makes home, school, and work more independent. And we spend ordinary days with children — art, meals, belonging.
